Eastern Washington has been where I call home for over twenty years. During that time, I travelled and lived abroad during my Air Force career but we always came back to Washington. 

I commissioned to Undergraduate Pilot Training in 2003 and spent decades flying helicopters (HH-60G, Pavehawks) and lived all over the world supporting America's missions abroad. I also served in an exchange with the French Air Force, and worked as an attaché in Romania alongside, not just other U.S. agencies, but with NATO allies and international partners. I know first hand that those agencies and partners are watching what's happening here with deep concern and some alarm.

I have raised two children with my beautiful wife, Shiloh. I will ensure that our state and our country are safe for the future of our children and everyone else's children. That means I will prioritize policies that preserve the democracy our founding fathers wanted at the root of our government, care for our natural world, focus on healthcare, protect our resources, and protect our ability to build our livelihoods.

I am running as an Independent for the Eastern Washington 5th District in a campaign that is clean of corporate corruption and big money interests which would allow me to truly represent the people. My values are rooted in deep respect and care for other people. And while my values overlap with the values of other candidates in other parties, I am running as an Independent to show there is another way to do politics - one that steps away from the current status quo, one that doesn't cater to big corporations and special interests, and one that truly puts the people first.
